Olgiata Golf Club, the venue of the 76th Italian Open
The 2019 Italian Open will be contested in Rome from 10 to 13 October, on the Olgiata Golf Club’s championship course. We are very pleased and proud that our golf course has been chosen, and give our wholehearted thanks to the Italian Golf Federation and the PGA European Tour. The announcement comes at an extraordinary and unprecedented time for the Italian golfing world, following the success of Francesco Molinari and with the 2022 Ryder Cup in Rome coming up. After the changes made by architect Jim Fazio in 2012, our golf course is even more beautiful and challenging today than it was during the 2002 Italian Open, won by Jan Poulter. The Open returns to Rome after 17 years, and October is the time of the year when the Eternal City is even more beautiful and welcoming. What better time for our hospitality to be put to the test by visitors from other parts of Italy and abroad?
